The Baglama, also known as the saz, is a traditional folk instrument with a rich history spanning over 1000 years. Originating from the time when Turks first settled in Anatolia, the baglama has been an integral part of cultural celebrations such as weddings and has been used by poets to express their deepest emotions. Its popularity has spread from Asia to Anatolia, Rumelia, and parts of Europe, making it a cherished and precious sound of Anatolian heritage that still endures today.
