Polymode, from Cherry Audio, draws inspiration from the legendary Moog Polymoog synthesizer, which was one of the first-ever polyphonic synthesizers in the world. The original synthesizer was renowned for its unique multiple parallel filter implementation and mod routings that gave it a distinctive sound unlike any other. However, the original Polymoog had its share of issues, such as being difficult to operate and prone to breakdowns. With Polymode, Cherry Audio has resolved all of these concerns and greatly expanded the instrument's capabilities. Polymode boasts a user-friendly interface and extensive modulation features that set a new standard for creating expressive, evolving string, pad, and choral tones.
