Verberate is a cutting-edge algorithmic reverb plug-in that prioritizes sound quality above all else. With its exceptional realism, it simulates real acoustical environments with unparalleled precision.
The latest version, Verberate 2, has added a new algorithm called Vivid Hall that mimics the natural variations in real acoustical surroundings caused by air currents, moving performers, or audience movements. These subtle variations can have a significant impact on the end of the reverb tail, which is where the sound is reflected numerous times before fading out. The Vivid Hall algorithm models these variations without any unwanted artifacts like chorus effects or pitch changes, resulting in a more realistic simulation of real halls.
Verberate 2 also has a Dispersion parameter that allows for the simulation of frequency dispersion in mechanical plate reverbs, where high frequencies travel faster than low frequencies. When combined with the decay editor, this feature creates a highly realistic plate reverb simulation with longer high-frequency decay. Additionally, the Swirl parameter enables the simulation of feedback modulation effects found in vintage digital reverb units.
In summary, Verberate 2 is an algorithmic reverb plug-in that provides exceptional sound quality and realistic simulation of real acoustical environments, making it a must-have tool for any serious audio professional.
